Pick Me Up Theatre present a 60th anniversary production of this classic of modern theatre.

 

Oh What A Lovely War! is a satirical chronicle of the First World War, told through songs and documents in the form of a seaside pierrot entertainment of the period.

 

It was devised and presented by Joan Littlewood's Theatre Workshop at the Theatre Royal, Stratford East, in 1963 before being turned into a film by Richard Attenborough in 1969
