Pick Me Up is a pioneering independent theatre company that first took to the York stage in 2012. 

 

Previous shows have included Sondheim's Follies, Assassins, Sweeney Todd and Into The Woods, Stiles and Drewe's Betty Blue Eyes and Peter Pan The Musical, the UK premiere of Stephen Dolginoff's Monster Makers, as well as his Thrill Me: The Leopold and Loeb Story, the UK premiere of Disenchanted!, and the York premieres of Shakespeare in Love, The Addams Family, Ghost, Dogfight, The Pitmen Painters and Private Peaceful. 

 

Productions in 2024 include Young Frankenstein at York's Joseph Rowntree Theatre and two Sondheim shows, Sunday in the Park with George and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at Theatre@41 Monkgate,
