Pick Me Up is a pioneering independent theatre company that first took to the York stage in 2012. 

 

Previous shows have included Sondheim's Follies, Assassins, Sweeney Todd and Into The Woods, Stiles and Drewe's Betty Blue Eyes and Peter Pan The Musical, the UK premiere of Stephen Dolginoff's Monster Makers, as well as his Thrill Me: The Leopold and Loeb Story, the UK premiere of Disenchanted!, and the York premieres of Shakespeare in Love, The Addams Family, Ghost, Dogfight, The Pitmen Painters and Private Peaceful. 

 

Shows in 2024 include the return of Pick Me Up's hugely popular production of Nativity! The Musical at the Grand Opera House and a festive adaptation of Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist at Theatre @41.

Coming up in 2025 we've got Amélie, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Oklahoma! and Fun Home.
